It's not a fault, it will go naturally in a short period of time.
If you really are that desperate to remove it as above a a stiff brush will remove it. |

Don't brush it

Gum - I meant like an alloy wheel bush or nylon bristle brush. NOT a wire brush on any account.

Get it off the tarmac into some proper mud, that'll take the blueness off. It has on mine and got rid of the white that I had fitted on the inside out of the way

It should not matter as it should be on the inside. So only visible from below the vehicle.
