Michelin XZL Tyres - Obsolete?
Looking the Michelin UK website I could see no reference to these tyres still being available. I see ex-M.o.D. versions available but no idea if these are really old stock.

Anyone in the know as to whether these tyres are still being produced as 'new' product - or are the places selling them simply emptying their warehouses of stock that is perishing by the day?

They are no longer manufactured for european market my guess is that the drive by noise was too high for European Regs Tyre labelling for passenger cars and light trucks will took effect from 1 November 2012 under European Regulation (EC) No. 1222/2009.

Pity, i had these on my S3 and they were very good. A bit unpredictable in the wet Shocked but then again, a S3 Landy in the wet is not the best at road-holding! Smile

Thanks for your replies so far - bur still tying to find out if Michelin are still producing them.

Site forum sponsor AJS Tyres lists them under 'Special Offers' maybe clearing out old stock? Maybe they will comment?
