14 mm fitted today...slightly behind you on the small orifice stakes. Always leave it a couple o'weeks before venturing smaller.

I,v been using a 14mm plate for wks now! and really do recommend at least a month a plate (trial time). Anyway i,m glad everyone with these kits are using the whole range of sizes to find what the optimum is for there own vehicle . Anybody got anymore up to date( hole size .vs. mpg) ![]() ex 1988 defender 90 ,td ex 1970 series III |

I don't know if there's a difference in volume between 90 and 110 tanks, but on my 90 when the fuel warning light comes on I can fit in 48 litres (or 10.55 gallons) until it's full. Doing 270 miles on 48 litres gives you around 25.6 mpg. I expect to see my light come on around 280, so it's in line with what I'd expect given the roof-rack

That does sound much better!!! I drive a 110 and the tank holds 75liters so I just did the calculation by that, thanks for the correction mr flips. ![]() ex 1988 defender 90 ,td ex 1970 series III |

All you need is on page 3 of this thread. They don't get any clearer. A couple of times and you'll have it down to no longer than 10 - 15 minutes I assure you! ![]() ![]() ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
