I only ever fit genuine clutches to customers pumas, the latest one has been modified to prevent the spring rattling noise I believe. Will be doing my own with a genuine unit in the next two weeks

Thank you for you answer .
How do you prevent spring rattling , how do you modify it? When you fit a new clutch do you replace also the slave cylinder , Ill never replaced it and I have now 150 000 km. |

The springs are already modified by the supplier think the centre of the friction plate casting is much stronger too. Yes I always replace the slave cylinder

since LR built so many versions of the clutch, which are still on the market, make sure you get the latest type (part number) Puma 110" SW

I recently replaced my clutch kit and bought all from OEM brands. The clutch kit was AP drive and the slave cylinder was Borg and Beck. I think when the new part number arrives it will be superceded anyway to the latest? Refer the microcat.Cheers.
Kind regards, Diluk |

Maybe I still have problems with my clutch because I didn't replaced the slave cylinder . When I'm changing gear it isn't going so smooth as it used to be . I'll try now with an genuine clutch and new slave cylinder , maybe this time I'll have more luck , Thank you all for your suggestions
