I've never done it (I have a 3G/GPS iPad) but there seems to be plenty of info via Google.
http://www.guidemyjailbreak.com/ ...as an example. Do it at your own risk. Or sell iPad and get one with it built in.. Cheers Simon |

I use a Brodit pro clip to hold it and iPad mini cellular (which has the GPS chip per the above). I then use the View Ranger app and just buy the OS squares I need, when I need them. I use free maps from Apple/Google for any sat nav needs. The brodit clip is very stable. I think the iPad mini is better that the full sized iPad for in car use. The iPad mini is also 4G enabled, but I don't go near anywhere with coverage for that very often... Cheers.

Rob - how have you fixed your iPad to the dash? Assuming you have. Notice your from Pudsey, I'm just down the road in Farsley!

Hi - I bought the 2nd one down on this page. http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodit/hold...Holder.asp Passive with no charger built in and no lock. The mount screws to the universal base which is attached to the dash without damage. Expensive I thought, but it does just the job. Looks like this: Cheers |

If anybody wants a holder for an iPad let me know as I've got one I don't use.

I'm needing a holder for iPad mini with a rubber case on. I'm struggling to find one at the moment owing to the rubber case which makes it wider than the norm. Have looked at ram Xgrip but that only takes up to 5 3/4 ", mine is 6" with the case.

Martin,
Great to hear from a D2 member local to me! My ipad air currently has the passenger lap mounting system, but will hopefully one day upgrade (don't tell her!) to the RAM system seat mounting arm and xgrip III which will accommodate a 10" tablet . Brendon (LEEDS) is the man for RAM mounts and not far from us either. Cheers Rob |

Border terrier - that's where I'm thinking of mounting mine. Been looking on ram site but slightly overwhelmed with the choices! Don't suppose you have the codes / part numbers to hand? I gave the bis battery monitor just below this as well so would have to double check the measurements.

Hi Rob. Not sure on the seat mounting option, I use my 110 for work and can imagine it getting in the way more than it would be worth. Sure I must have come across your motor before now - what is it you drive? I'll post a photo of mine later so you can keep your eye out for me. It's sign written black 110 csw with patriot rack on. I purchased one or two things from Brendan recently (top bloke) but wanted to be sure what I needed before I ask him.
