My MY 13 went in for a few jobs yesterday, one of which was a stodgy shift from 1st to 2nd. I know they are all like that especially when cold, but I chanced my arm. Technician agreed and apparently there is a tech bulletin which supports the work. I pick her up tomorrow so I will let you know how she drives.

"no tools required"
I suppose chewing some gum to stick in there requires no tools |

My assumption is that it means no "Special" tools required, after all bodge tape etc are all standard issue nowadays!

I have a 3 week old 110. Just confirming, if I complained about the change of gear issue on my first schedule service this should be covered under warrantly?

Yep, all Pumas still under warranty should have this fix carried out.
If you are friendly with your stealer, you can try and get it done for free/reduced rate if your landy just came out of the warranty period. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |
