Can't get my defender started after doing a head gasket
Hi
I have just had to do a head gasket on my 2,4 tdci, can't seem to get it started
I have checked the timing all look good
The only thing I forgot to do was mark the injector from which the cylinder they came from
Any other idea ????
cheers

Is it pumping white smoke while you're cranking it?
If you've got fuel going to the injectors it should be.

should still start with mixed injectors , are cam and crank sensors plugged in ? (crank one down the back and easy to forget )
have you got diesel up to injectors or does it need bleeding ?
did you use proper pins for locking cams and crank for re-timing ?
