Learned how to and changed P gasket and timing belt and tensioner. Also how to cut off a viscous fan when it has stripped its mounting. That is one skill I hope not to need again. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

^^^ I saw the signs for one off the stages off the Leek/Macclesfield road yesterday. Should have gone to look actually as I'd followed them on FB for months.

Some very good stages, and some rough/muddy ones. 110 did well hauling cars through the mud. 1999 Defender TD5 110

That's an old version. With the paid for version of Alpine Quest you can use the OS maps on a Android device. I run mine on a tablet, very handy. 1999 Defender TD5 110

That is a nice little set up Andy, I wish I had the room for one.
What did I do in my Defender? Drove it to the new owner, the 606 has gone and I'm now down to 1, from 3. I won't be replacing the daily with another Defender. Which means more time, funds and effort to be spent on the v8. |

Last week I popped down to Ifor Williams in Deeside to collect my new canopy for my trailer, now I can move things no matter what the British weather does.
Just need to add some quick release clamps when I have time, to make it easier to remove and refit. Richard Click image to enlarge 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper |

^^^ RFT - looks the business too!
Like the tent a lot!! Meanwhile, we’re off to Cornwall tomorrow. Since I’ve given Florence a good scrub, I thought she looked sexy in the morning sunshine. Click image to enlarge |

Cheers Blacklab
5m bell tent, dead simple to put up but weighs 30+kg, but manageable and great excuse for having a sankey. Looking at the suppliers website, they now do an 8m version weighing 75kg not sure that would ever be useful to anyone 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

I did the factory tour at Solihull. Great day out and fascinating to see a factory in action. Not like I imagined at all and mind is definitely blown. I only wish I had done it when Defenders will still in production.
