Tough day at the office today. First did some touting, weather was just awful. (Note the car in the neighbouring garden Thumbs Up ).

Then had to go on a valuation of an apartment belonging to someone who turned out to be one of Italy's 'leading Ladies', Francesca Cavallin.

Celebration time Very Happy

My wife has agreed to let me bring my 110 home from storage and not have to sell it Thumbs Up

It’s taken 6 months for her to cool (a little) following the theft of my 90.

However the 110 has to stay in the garage for now......so that’s spannering time for me Wink

Nice.

But I bet that galv chassis is missing the big hole in the RHS of the rear crossmember.

You just cannot get a correct chassis or even just a crossmember for the early One Ten or Ninety.

Would be good to see a few pics of your One Ten, unless the earlier theft has made you a bit wary, which would be understandable.

Thanks and yep there is no hole in the RHS of the cross member.

Now that I’ve got the 110 in the garage I’m going to take the opportunity to go through everything to check, clean, paint (underside) and replace worn parts etc over the next few months.

So I’ll upload pictures as I go.

I’m not worried about photos on the forum. I doubt the scrots that nicked my 90 would know how to log on the forum, I mean they were dim enough to punch the door look out on my.......soft top 90 Rolling Eyes

More worried about the wife seeing my credit card bill rise again Laughing Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long Smile

Decided I needed more light in the rear end of the 110. The rear interior light just did'nt do it.

So fitted these

I purchased 4 of them but 4 might just be a little OTT.
First real use will be the two day rally at Anglesey Circuit , Ty Croes at the end of the month. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Looks good .I keep thinking on some thing like this as it is a black hole in the back of a hard top 90.

Cheers, Got them from Eblag - Each one has its own switch. Took the feed from the live connection in the rear and via a switch. 1999 Defender TD5 110
