Not exactly today (it was Friday) I finally finished my second row door electric window lift installation. It is such an improvement to be able to operate the windows whilst driving. Such a shame LR didn't fit these as standard.

Sorry, no pics at the moment. The kit is the one from vcdparts.co.uk and is really good, a perfect fit, easy to install, and everything you need to get up and running is included. It requires no drilling, the lifters fit perfectly in the doors, and look 100% factory fit. The new lifters also allow the glass to drop about 1/2 an inch further in the door giving a wider opening.
I really cannot fault this kit in any way it was an absolute pleasure to fit a product as well thought out and made as this, and at £225 plus VAT I think it is very good value (I bet the front lifters from LR cost more). |

Fixed the central locking on the drivers door, it was a corroded wire at the plug. It's only been on a few months 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

It's a 255/85/R16 soft wheel cover. 👍🏻 I can't fit just yet until I get some spacer nuts. £30 nearly for three nuts? (Seems ott to me) 😵 As soon as I do get it fitted I'll get a pic up No Guts, No Glory.

Blackwolf - You're right, for some reason I had a bit of a mind blank.
Pack between the carrier and hex nuts 10mm or there about M16 SS penny washers, affix the large nut against those and then the wheel. That's what I'll buy I think. Not sure if I've got that size spanner though. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

When I first tried to put them on I thought they were the wrong size thread but after some vigorous cleaning of the threads on the wheel carrier they were ok 1993 200Tdi Defender 90
