They look much more modern, and functional not being glass.
Today, I've just been doing paint prep, wet sanded some parts that I primed the other day. |

Where Landrovers are concerned, darkness is never far away. I also have Crystals, 90% Nightbreakers and Landreiziger loom,it's an excellent, cheap and easy diy mod,tho you may need new headlamp rings anorl as the originals are more than likely rotted thru, stainless for longevity,or Rustoleum on the cheaper mild steel jobbies. I should have ordered headlight surrounds but forgot to. Next job them and head light loom - cheap ebay jobbie so will be interesting to see how it goes. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Needed to pop out for some bits and pieces (non Landy related) so I went in Bertha to commemorate the end of an era... Even got a wave from an Electricity Board man in his tooled-up 130!

Ditto... Well that's my excuse anyway and it would have been rude not to, today of all days... And didn't see a single other Landy, even in Marshalls... Ended up at Marshalls in Peterborough on the pretext of checking First Service costs and making do with a photo opportunity... Click image to enlarge Rog... The GREEN One... Many thanks excossack, if they are not glass , are they more likely to get damaged from stones flying up from other vehicles , as im assuming they are a type of plastic ?
