Well I've got it back from the bodyshop Mr. Green it's all realigned, wing and arch painted, new bumper end cap and while it was in I had the roof painted santorrini black. Also fitted new alpine window seals as the old ones were quite perished and tinted the alpine windows to stop some sun glare.

I think it looks good Whistle
Also my middle row inka seat covers arrived so they were fitted today and I must say they are really good. I think I'll dump the generic ones I have on the front seats and get matching ones
Still a few jobs to do before I set off on my hols in a couple of months so more pics to come soon.

Cheers
Ray

Picked up some rear half shafts and drive flanges to take out some of the slack so it looks like I'm busy this weekend Rolling Eyes I hate boring maintenance jobs, I should be putting nice shiny new bits and gadgets on!!!

Fitted the new rear badge with countersunk Allen head bolts as I like the look better than rivets, and bilt hamber clear waxed the new wheel carrier so it should stay in corrosion free condition Mr. Green

Well, I've been a busy boy again! At the weekend I fitted all four drive flanges and both rear half shafts, and as photobucket won't let me upload the video of how bad they were worn, let's just say they could have completely failed if left much longer!!! Also today I removed both rear springs, cleaned them up and fitted new spring isolators and new spring straps (as the old ones had snapped at one end) while doing the job I found a completely threaded nut holding one damper Shocked so put a nice shiney new one on and after a little test drive all the rattle noises seem too have gone at the back Very Happy so a good few hours spent this week!

It'll be a new car again at this rate Rolling with laughter

Cheers
Ray

Tinted the rear door glass with some cheap tinting film today so it's the two rear small windows tomorrow as a stop gap till I get factory tinted glass. Not too many noticeable marks so it'll do for the time being Whistle

Everything you have dome
Is exactly what I want to do to my 110! Beautiful Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert..
