They look like filled in disco window switch holders, so another vote for electric windows. If it is, it's well worth doing, I've done it on mine

Did you use the switch holder that came with the kit and bolt it to the back of the cubby? Ray

I didn't fancy the switches that came with the kit I bought, I wanted to use the oem switches so used a disco 2 sunroof switch panel on the back of the cubby, and the disco 2 cubby panel on the front so I could reach them easily, Ive re painted those panels so they're off at the min, but will hopefully get them back on shortly and get some photos up for you.

Interesting, so have you wired up two switches for each window then? That's what I'm planning on doing with switches in the back for the passengers and switches in the front so I can open and close them without reaching around. Ray

46 pages on your 110. It must surely be similar to Triggers brush with all the bits you've swapped
Catching the ferry from Hull soon for a boys Defender road trip. If you need to work on Defender when it is raining then give me a shout - unit at Brighouse with illuminated pit |

Yep, the original plan was to have the switches on the doors but there just isn't room as the switches are too long using the freelander switch holders I originally had, I thought the back of the cubby was the next best place as I didn't have far to wire the second switches, as with the oem switches, the rear switches have wires coming directly from the front panel rear window switches. Basically I studied a disco 2 wiring diagram, butchered the kit I bought and followed the same wiring as the disco. End result is that i can operate the rear windows from the front of the cubby and the back of the cubby when sat in the back.

Did you fit the window cut out switch too? Any tips or drawings you could send me on the wiring would be greatly appreciated as wiring is confusing to me. Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

I've just had a look at the disco sunroof switch panel and realised it's exactly what I bought this week off eBay
I just thought is went on the centre console or something having only seen the picture they provided. Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |
