New tyres fitted today and starter motor repair kit as it's caught me out a few times in the past week and stranded me for a while, while it was deciding weather to start or not it was a comprehensive kit and only took 10 mins to fit once the starter was out. Only a couple of jobs left to do before the holiday and some pics to come soon.

Pretty good (I don't think it's a placebo effect) it sounds lot quieter overall. I need to stop the brake pad rattle as it's getting very annoying now

A bit more progress with the start of the wheel colour change.
A black undercoat so I don't have to use as much santorrini black to cover. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge A couple of little runs but the laquer was very thin with this hot weather, so I'll have to flat them out when the paints had chance to harden a bit. Hopefully by the end of the day two will be done and I'll try and do the other side tomorrow. Cheers for looking Ray Last edited by mk1collector on 10th Sep 2017 10:14pm. Edited 1 time in total |
