If people pm me with their emails i will send you the installation instructions that come with kit and some pics that i took whilst fitting mine. I did this for Bruce earlier today, so its no problem as all the copying work is done.

I will check my inbox tomorrow and send as a oner.

Hope this helps you all.

Regards,

Mark

The Cruise control works in any gear at any speed & works with Overdrive or modified gearing.
This is what you get in the box the loom to the throttle is 't'ed in so just plug and play. Thumbs Up

Thank you. Is there any splicing of original wiring?

I understand your apprehension of buying something costing the best part of £400 - sight unseen. I too am very interested, everyone has said it is fairly straightforward but no one has been prepared to show the instructions etc:, What is actually involved in fitting it. How much dismantling of the dash etc. That concerns me that I might have problems. Whistle

I thought I had covered this, but I may of missed something.

You have to remove your steering cowl and clocks / instruments which is about eight torx screws from here you can access the bulkhead for the clutch, the speed pulse wire on the instrument loom, ignition live on the back of the key and run cables down to the brake pedeal and mount the stalk in the cowl.

The cruise ecu I would mount behine the speaker on the bulkhead.

Then you put it into set up and check operation of pedals then drive it and you are done.

We are waiting on that - we have to have an ECU programmed with specific software for the Td5 which seemed very quick for initial two we did for testing and a few for stock. Now we are just waiting.

Yes as you have to pick up an ignition feed, speed pulse, clutch and brake input.

I think it's the dismantling part that was worrying people.
I did the same kind of dismantling etc. when I fitted my speed-unlimiter - it's p*ss easy Thumbs Up
If you do the wiring neatly (soldering and sleeving), that's what takes the time... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

We looked at making it plug and play but the price would then put people off as it would increase heavily.
