2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Cairns Blue
i have only used mine a couple of times and must admit it is a very strange feeling taking your foot off the accelerator and still doing 65mph!
the engine seams to run smoother compared to my heavy right foot (this is on the uppy downy sections of the A34 and M3 from oxford to southampton.
it is more relaxing (appart from when you are trying to familirize yourself with the controls on an A road with reasonable traffic Shocked ).

excellent service from Tim throughout Thumbs Up

Is the wiring all connected at the steering column, or do you have to connect wires elsewhere as well?

No Marius....fitting instructions and "kit" contents are the only thing that's stopped me from ordering it.......still trying to find out all the details.

Bruce, Marius,

Would you like me to scan and email you the instructions? I'm not the best at electrics but even i found it easy, it only took me 4 hours to do myself.

Regards,

Mark

Thank you very much Mark that would be brilliant. PM sent with my email address.

Marius, perhaps we can share the shipping costs and combine our orders once we have decided?

Yes thats something I didnt think about Confused ..... Ive just fitted a inter-cooler to mine with just over a year of warranty left. I was told that if a claim results from the installation of an after market product the claim will not be paid.

Another question, does this cruise control work in any gear and at any speed?

Speed pulse, ignition and brake are at steering column.

The clutch switch is through an existing grommet into the engine bay.

It is a half days work to fit it and set up.

I understand your apprehension of buying something costing the best part of £400 - sight unseen. I too am very interested, everyone has said it is fairly straightforward but no one has been prepared to show the instructions etc:, What is actually involved in fitting it. How much dismantling of the dash etc. That concerns me that I might have problems. Whistle LANDYWATCH

I'm also very interested but, as my wife will testify, "a half day's work" for anyone else is a long weekend for me Embarassed
