Sorry to say this and I ain't wanting to rain on anyone's bonfire but that looks cheap and tacky, a parody of how a defender ought to be. I know it will not have been cheap and the installation looks first class, it's just too max power boy racer ish. Sorry.

I have even a bit more of the same on my SVX, and apart from having excellent front light quality in all weather circumstances, I also get constant thumbs up from other Defenders, but also from many pedestrians, so looks like taste and colours are not really something which can be discussed Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Ah!

I wanted to do my project for the reasons (Outback Engineering driving missions):

Project related
1. more modern front design for the Outback Engineering Edition Defender but remaining true to the overall Land Rover Design

2. add design integrated driving lights

General OE philosopy
1. Think overall upgrade (mechanical, technical, styling, confort) without falling into Fast and Furious style effect or decrease the reliability (Indeed, increasing it), and execution must be equal or superior to LR standard (not so difficult same times) and it should look like "factory made"

2. unique Defender

3. I like to think/project/realize upgrades for my car (how next??) and fo my Customers....

4. always with an eye to the Italian Style

According to your opinion am I succeeding? Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Don't worry about our opinions. It's your car and if you like it, it's great.

I'm not worried, the "taste" is personal, we are only discussing............ Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

But I'd like to "ear" your opinion because, same times, it is only an hobby at the moment, I sell my accessories/modifications with te OE mark

Wow, and there was me thinking you had installed a colour coded SVX grill and some Speaker lights. Thats like having a corporate mission statement for an oil change..

This recent mod isn't to my taste either, but I do like most of the other things that you have done and I appreciate your documenting them all here so that anyone else who wants to follow in your footsteps can more easily.
Thank you.
