In that case I will play it safe and go to a local audio fitting centre. Thanks for the heads up! |

Do you mean you want an additional rear pair or are you currently running the front two only and nothing at the rear?
I presume you are using the factory HU (stereo) ? Do you have a standard harmonised DIN ISO connector block at the rear of the HU LR loom. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Ive fitted a kenwood HU as there was nothing there before using the two standard plugs in the dash to make it work. i am running the front two speakers only and would like to run an additional 2 in the rear.
the HU has a load of connections invthe back but is working fine just using the 2 ISO (?) connectors that are part of the dash wiring |

I see what you mean.
Are connections present and wires connected for the rear two speaker channels? I.e. are they connected at the plug? Also. Are the wires present to the rear behind the speakers ready to be connected or currently are connected? ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Click image to enlarge Thanks for the help Steve, The plug does have the speaker connections & wires for rear speakers, but they disappear in to the loom and I've no idea where they come out. I'm presuming there's a separate plug or something for the more advanced systems (not mine) that have OE amp & whatever??? Photos of mine.... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Difficult to see but it looks as if the connections are present at the HU end.
Have you looked for the wires behind the speaker panels at the rear? ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Can anyone recommend a single DIN unit that does the following:
DAB (never managed to get FM working properly) Flip up screen with reversing camera input USB connection for MP3 files on memory stick Nice to have would be a bluetooth phone ability but only if it has a plug in remote microphone. Oh and it needs to be a sensible price (read very sensible price). Thanks in advance for any suggestions. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. I would look at Clarion or Pioneer’s offerings.
However, you are looking at £300 to £500. 2 DIN or 1 DIN flip up aren’t cheap unless extremely basic unfortunately. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

As mine is a 1985 vintage, I don't have anything in the rear, i'm presuming there is a connection somewhere in the dash for an extension to the loom for the rear speakers in 110 & station wagon versions and I was hoping someone would know what I'm looking for. |

It has been known for the connections to be present hidden away at the front against the bulkhead. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Knowing nothing at all about ICE I think I'd like to plan a modest upgrade.
Head unit is an Alpine CDE-133BT with OEM speakers. Truck is a 2016 XS hard top. I quite fancy the Alpine subwoofer(?) behind the cubby and fancied the Alpine-SWE-1200 but I'm now thinking it's not a quick and easy total newby job? Bang for buck, what is the best thing I should do? Rob 1993 200tdi 90 hard-top 1998 300tdi 90 soft-top 2016 2.2 XS 90 hard-top (sold) |

If you want to put it behind the cubbybox it’s quiet easy. If you want it in the cubbybox it’s a different story
In other words. I have the same unit. It’s great!! I’ve designed a custom cubbybox which houses the alpine unit (and an extra drawer). If you want i can take a Photo. But it is a great unit which gives Some umpfff to the music. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |
