Well I was mooching about on ebay the other day and came across these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Light-Panel-48-L...1c1d8f0ce2 and I thought well at £0.77 each delivered its worth a punt even if they do turn out to be a little crap or just disappear between here and Hong Kong. Fast forward 2 weeks and this arrived in the post Click image to enlarge Look reasonably well made and in contrast to what was Click image to enlarge to the new and improved LED version Click image to enlarge Although I may have overcooked it with 48 led lamps in both  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

But i was 'sensible' enough to get a 24 for the front Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

Rosco, is yours a double cab or a sration wagon and did you put the interior light above the second row seats or was it factory fitted? I only ask as I have a 2002 station wagon and put a normal interior light above the 2nd row seats and just using a non led one vastly improved the lighting

Oops Now I'm looking on a full size screen not the piddly thing on my phone I've noticed that the picture is of a 90's interior, now don't I feel short(by about 20"). Now back on topic, I put another interior light matching the other 2 in my 110 above the 2nd row in about the same position as the picture above. Even using a 'normal' bulb the illumination inside has vastly improved and the kids can now see to fight when it's dark outside |

Bob, the ones I bought from eBay are item number: eBay Item No. 320649190439 from a guy that calls himself 'Dailydealuk', who is in Hong Kong. Stick that number into the eBay search box and they'll come up. I see they're up to a couple of quid each now, but they are exactly the right length to replace the filament lamps, as I remember measuring the originals before ordering. I think having two with 48 LED's was a little over kill
Click image to enlarge so i might order a much much smaller one for the front as I've reverted to just leaving it switched off for the time being.
JWL, yeah had a standard bulb in the rear light but always found it too dark in there when looking for stuff, thus the over enthusiastic upgrade. I'm toying with the idea of these as "lead lights" with some sort of magnetic/suction cup on the back of the housing. Be perfect for work lights and when camping Ross Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

Thanks for the tip, Ross. Following your link I've just ordered a couple of those myself.
Browing the vendors shop, I also found these LED strip lights that looked pretty useful. They're obviously intended for Audi wannabees, but I thought they could make useful internal lighting in the rear of my 110. It's worth a punt for the cost, anyway Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Was discussing this last night with my mate who has a VW camper who's looking for better lighting in that. I did suggest the rope lighting but he gave me a slap and reminded me it was ambient not gentlemans club he was going for.
