Motor Industry Ombudsman - http://www.miosa.co.za/ I also find that posting something about your issues on LRSA's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LandRoverSouthAfrica) tends to get their attention very quickly -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

Hey watchit Land Rover Menlyn refused to do the clutch. Winston didnt want to do it and said I'll be wasting my time, and that Warranty won't pay. Then I took it to Land Rover Centurion. They did it without asking questions. But 3 days after receiving my vehicle back, got a call that the warranty will only pay 25% of it. It took me 3 months to convince them to pay 100%. Due to the recent recall, I was able to convince them to refund me. Land Rover SA payed the money back. This is after the 4th time I asked them to review their decision. |

I've had 2 clutches done within 80k, both covered under warranty without a hassle. Third one is behaving the same as the other two after 3k, so I'll just live with it until I hear good reports about Ver3.0.

Yes this is at Menlyn......
But if there has been a class act before and others got a full refund then I dont see why they shouldn't do it. |

Mine's been in since June, barely 2000km done and already it's starting to rattle the same way the original did.... -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

Stop struggling with those fools at Menlyn and go direct to Centurion. Speak to Wimpie Willers(head technical adviser/oke/dude/manager--whatever they call them ) He is very knowledgable and always help. |

I got the same run around at Menlyn about it. Show them the recall, and ask them to do the recall. |

2008 - no change needed (don't drive in low box much) Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

They took a photo of the clutch to send to Land Rover SA so make a call if they are going to replace it or not. I uploaded it to my galary. Not sure what I should be looking for?
