As Cooper don't make ST in 255/85 anymore, would a BFG MT in same size go OK (on steel rim, as a spare in emergency - or could I get away with my existing 235/85 as "space saver" spare to get me home). Otherwise the rare Toyo Open Country 255/85 seems the only other option, if I can find one. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender |

In that time I put £4,592.81 of fuel* in the tank (an average of £11.78 per day) and covered 19068 miles. * Which means that £2,847.54 of that was tax. Then there's the RFL and IPT, then VAT on everything including the RFL and IPT, all money used to pay all this tax has already been subject to the income tax. I reckon I must own a cottage hospital by now.[/quote] tax tax tax.......i'm going back to cash |
