If it’s starts in hybrid mode it’s a muffled sound, whereas if it’s an earlier d300 and the mod was done you will hear the starter engage and then the diesel engine sound.

| Resurrecting this thread - has anyone got any more info ref this resonance? Miy 2012 90 with 52k does exactly this between 1400 - 1500 rpm and in gear. Far more noticeable when cold. |
