Service cost
My 110 D300 is due a service by the end of the year so I rang a couple of local dealers - first one quoted £687 and second one £675.24
Went online and found the LR Service plan- which for the first service is £585.59 which is the same figure for 12/24 months anyway. Dealers price is inclusive of vat and the online portal is a one off payment of £585.59.
Any reason not to go down the online route?

My 90 D250 is due its first service next month, dealer quote was the same as yours, £650. At least they are consistent.

My local LR Specialist has quoted just over half the price....£350. They've been Land Rover specialists since the 1950's so l trust them.

And they can loan me a vehicle.

independent land rover specialist just charged me £373 for the scheduled 4 year service. 2020 Defender 110 SE 240D: Fuji White.

Not LR related. Just jealous of the area you live in. Beens everal times now as I do service crew for a rally team that competes in Asturias. ALways a great time when we come over. Hoping to come over for the rally later this year if my team is entering 110 D250 SE HT

I got an intermediate oil/filter change at my dealer £349. Got them to stick it on the diagnostic machine as I’m getting an issue with the airbag light staying on intermittently, so it’s to go back in for that. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I think I’ve mentioned in another thread, the going labour rate at a main dealer in Yorkshire is £196/hr. I know they have a large overhead to service, but it’s daylight robbery!! Was quoted £1,260 to change the front disks on the wife’s velar. Local LR Approved specialist, who has a nice showroom and serves decent coffee, is doing it for £285, using genuine parts. The days of main dealer servicing are long gone for me.

Hi Co1 I live in Barnard Castle, in South Durham on the border of North Yorkshie and would love to know which Land Rover approved specialist you use .
