I unterstand the Ashcroft kit controls the autobox by means of Compushift. How is the JE 6speed autobox controlled ? Is any communication to the engine management involved?

I remember vaguely that it was pretty easy to use some already-there-bracket as a template to dril the one hole in question. You will have no problem this ...

Registered 3/12 and VIN is SALLDHMP8CA41....

never agree to Nylock nuts being reused, they are referred to in industry as "one Shot nuts" that means once removed they are scrap and should not be reused as they do not grip the threads ...
