I find it even worse removing it to be honest, to scared to pull sometimes as I'm never sure if that's the unlocked position  |

Yes it is 
My injectors are also way quieter. Wondering if I should empty that tank fully.
Is it fairly easy to fully drain or does the tank need to be removed? |

Filter is 10 months old, 8.000kms. I have not drained it once, I'll do it later, what's the procedure?
