| I have a similar noise, wondering if we have the same. Thought it could be from the steering, but I also feel it in the accelerator pedal. TC would make sense. |

Yes it is 
My injectors are also way quieter. Wondering if I should empty that tank fully.
Is it fairly easy to fully drain or does the tank need to be removed? |

| Might have been a mix of all this. But it still would not run with the new VCV, only when I swapped the fuel filter. |

Filter is 10 months old, 8.000kms. I have not drained it once, I'll do it later, what's the procedure?

Why don’t you just change the VCV? It’s a 20 minute job at most.

Could the P268B-00 mean a dead high pressure pump? that would explain the no start.
But I agree with you, we could talk for ever if I don't do the tests and sensors/VCV swaps.

| I was under the impression that with two pins it had to be a magnetic sensor. I think I‘ll just bring it to the mechanic, can‘t leave it indefinitely in the street. |
