Yeah the HV battery will keep the 12v battery topped up 👍

Do you mean the 12v cigarette lighter socket or do you have the 230V 3 pin socket too?

Either way though, they will only be powered up when the ignition is on so you won’t be able to leave a frid ...

Yep the standard steps are pretty low, and the new defender is quite “barrel” sided so that the step isn’t really any further out than the centre of the door.
