I did look at that, and again find it hard to be sure. I think that the shadow in the rear view shows more rear overhang behind the rear wheel that you would see on an an 88", it looks to me more like a 109" shadow, but I wouldn't say it was conclusive.
No, the vehicle is correct, the SII, SIIA and SIII models have the indicators above the tail/brake lights. My old SII (which sadly I sold due to a lack of storage space some time before prices rocketed) left the factory without indicators, but would have had the tail lights in the lower of the two positions in the rear corner cappings. The SII corner cappings were always designed to allow for a second light unit, and the early ones had the hole in the galvanised capping but the panel behind was solid. A SII without indicators looks odd (and is now a very rare thing). Have limited knowledge about IIs and IIAs, usually I identify from the wiper motors. Interesting in the screen capture of the brochoure that there is only a side light on the mudguard. I have seen II2 or IIAs with an indicator beside the side lamp, and others with the indicator above the side lamp. Yes, at the front on early SIIs (like mine) there was no pressing for the indicator light, and if fitted it was simply attached in a suitable place. The fitting instructions for the optional flasher kit, which did include amber light units for front and rear, instructed that the hole should be cut inboard of the existing sidelight but that the sidelight should be moved to the new hole and the indicator fitted in place if the sidelight, so that the indicator was outboard of the sidelight. This was, I believe, in order to comply with the then-current lighting regs. More commonly the indicator was fitted below the sidelight since this was equally legal but could cause number plate problems.

Series IIs and IIAs until 1967 had twin wiper motors. Single motor came in April 1967 with the black dash panel and negative eirth electrical system. The bottom one is military. They had up down lamps to leave space for the tall number plate layout in three rows of two digits. Civvy were side by side to give enough room for the standard civvy plate. 2011 110 USW
