 Good man This evening I am going to whip the exhaust off as that is being swapped for a quieter version. I suspect this weekend will be the second row crossmember. Weather permitting. At the moment it is saying thunder storms |

Well not had much dry weather to do anything this weekend... but I did get a couple of things done.
The first is the front brake stone guards are now attached with a proper 15mm long bolt and the guards are nicely pressed against the YRM SS brackets and away from the brake disc.  Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The second little job was the fitting of the new dual DRL and Fog lights in the bumper. I have been waiting to fit these for months, but needed a thicker 90mm gasket behind the bumper to get the right clamping force to hold the light in position. There are 70mm Vinstar Duolights from EinParts in Germany, or at least that is where I got them from. I have not wired them up yet, but I am very much looking forward to having both DRLs and fog lamps on the front of Miffy. Should look a bit different to the usual Defender DRLs... Nice jobs being done there on Miffy
I will have to put that on my to do list " try a Bison burger " 
You could do a mod to the third axle and make it a " lift axle " when not in use 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

I have the P38 spacer and parts ready to do the swap, just need to find a vice to use next Life without a workshop sucks... 
So I see, looks like you have a good option in that 2004 TD5, it will be a 15P and around 100k miles is almost broken in I remember when Miffy was 100k miles young. I think it is a good choice for your 127 and I think a build thread is needed as well. Very envious of the 127... |

Well, a little job over lunch... This morning the wiper removal tool arrived and long story short. Brilliant tool to have in your garage. Right tool for the job.
This began with noticing that the rubber dust covers on the wiper spindles were only being held together by faith, hopes and dreams. Click image to enlarge So I sourced a replacement set from Emberton Imperial might have been via their eBay site. Click image to enlarge Anyway, I couldn't get the wiper arms off and I know that trying to lever them off will only cause damage to paint, or glass or components. If you are planning to remove your wiper arms then this tool is what you need.
