I have the base spec Headlights that auto level, but they are too high in low beam. Does anybody know how to adjust these?

It's been a while since I've adjusted Headlights before. Do I loosen that outer ring first I guess?

What makes you think they are too high. Are you getting flashed by oncoming drivers?

HI,
In theory if your car has air suspension it should automatically adjust level, if you've never taken them apart they should be ok. these are the land rover instructions. Marco Click image to enlarge |

Thanks Marco, I tried to search that site, but I guess I used the wrong search wording.
To explain, I've been flashed frequently and I noticed the top of the pattern is well above the height of almost any vehicle in front of me. I have self leveling, but I believe the base line is too high. I'll try to change it and see what I get. BTW, I'm still working on ACC activation with IID. I haven't forgotten about that. Thanks everybody. That did the trick. I'm no longer blinding other drivers.

Good to know. I had looked it up as I have the same. I’ve never been flashed but the lights sit uncomfortably high in my opinion so I will tweak them down a bit.
