Has anyone by chance turned off the TPMS and had it successful?

Before you ask why…my friend has a 90, a 110, and a 130. All of these vehicles are wearing 35” tires with no sensors in them. Being that he’s using aftermarket rims, there’s no room. His OCD is driving him up a wall having the light on the dash flashing.

We tried changing:

MultiCAN-581 TPMSCalibration
Current: Undefined 3
New: No TPMS calibration selected

EUCD-101 to “Without Monitoring System TPMS”

This is what the outcome looks like:

Anyone any further on with any other activations?

What is the purpose of the beta test? Is it to feedback to GAP? What’s the end result? Will GAP publish a list of known activations that work etc?

I was wondering the same thing.
Based on the amount of responses could this be a sticky?
Is there a way to compare all different kinds of original CCF files as to figure out what settings to change?
Has anyone logged the changes made by the payed aftermarket specialists maybe?

The beta test provides very engaged IIDTool users (that's you all Razz ) with the opportunity to use a pre-general-release version of the IIDTool software. And yes, we are relying on your feedback as well as the logs we get when your IIDTools are updated to monitor what works and what doesn't. We actually ask for feedback from all (not just beta) customers as well. This is the best way to ensure our products are as good as we can make them.

The end result will hopefully be great products. We publish the working CCF functions and how-to's in our FAQ section on the website.

Thanks Steve
There is potentially a cohort of individuals in the US looking to get on-board with this on another forum. Is it still available for any one looking to get involved in the beta testing?

Cheers!

Today I wanted to read out the faults on the IIDTool but it behaved quite strangely. It checks all the ECUs but when completed the screen of my iphone went dimmed and it goes back to the main menu.
I have the latest beta app and also beta firmware installed and it worked before perfectly.

Uninstalled the app. Restarting the iphone and reinstalling brings no relief. All the other features like live values and CCF editing works fine...

Someone knows that issue?

Cheers
Dominik

Dominik, I haven't personally come across that but it may be worth sending a bug report on it to make sure it gets to either Pat or Steve Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

How often do you need to update the device itself by plugging it into the pc?

Soft tailgate
hello everyone, have a good day,
I was looking around for the soft opening of the tailgate, I saw this parameter to be changed, has anyone tried to see if it works?

If you are trying to get it to open when you press the button on the keyfob I couldn't get it to work unfortunately. I know it's possible but I think most people who have got it to work used the LR Pathfinder and ccf editor. Cheers Ian

Hi Adam,
Sorry for the late reply. Things have been going quite well in the beta versions - we're likely going to release the first regular version in not all too long 🤫. But if you're in a hurry, let me know...

Which US forum, btw?

That's good news Steve, can't wait until we can until the tool is out of beta and we can do a few more activations. Bow down

I'm still wanting to activate the TR2/atpc and configurable TR and I've just got a few parts in for my next project which I have heard will need activating once installed Very Happy

Finally got my tool set up today and had a play.
Did the upgrades as stated in the previous posts.
I had a play with the cooled seats settings in hope Laughing is this more than a software thing with extra hardware feeding the seats. It states if you have perforated seats which mine have holes so not totally sure. Anyone else looked at this?
Like most I’m keen on the TR2.

A big thanks to GAP for there very fast responses as always Bow down First Edition 90 in Pangea Green. (Gone)
P400 110 in Tasman Blue.

I would think that the cooled seats would involve some extra bits like the ducting to get the cooled air to the seats but who knows Confused Mine has cooled seats from the factory so I can see if I can get a photo of the underside of the seat if you wish to compare to yours. Cheers Ian
