You do know you need about 30% of that to do the same job as its not a sound barrier. It only stops panel resonance. It only needs to cover about 30% of a flat surface. The sound barrier stuff is about 10mm thick and rubber backed.

Got round to swapping out the minibus steering wheel............
Click image to enlarge ........for something a little smaller Click image to enlarge Quite surprised how much nicer Ron was to potter about in (smaller steering inputs I guess) but also that we didn't end up with silly heavy steering from the smaller wheel. Plus my decade old steering wheel lock fits now. |

Looks great. You saying about you old steering lock. Have you considered other security?? Removable steering wheel boss?
I have the x eng pedal lock which is great and easy to apply so gets used whenever I leave the vehicle. Tracker ? All things worth considering with such a nice example of a 110 |

Some more arts and crafts…..10mm foam layer going in slowly when time allows
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Gonna do the other side before doing some of the box sections. Must find a free day to strip out the roof liner and do that at some point. But want to carpet the sides first. Any good recommendations on carpet? I used some cheapo eBay crap on my bike rack set up, but want something a bit better quality when I trim the side panels. Answers on a postcard |
