I saw the pic in the workshop with cars in the background and thought, that's got to be somewhere interesting. And then spotted PNG. Great place, only been there once but it was so much fun hanging with the locals drinking hundreds of tins of beers, where the empties were always stacked on a table to see how well you have done, and always being passed onto a cousin or uncle to look after you. Thumbs Up

Yeah, it is an incredible place here. Been here almost a year and work in that small auto shop that is part of a NGO. If you've been here, you probably know the need for the high end shocks then. I've been a lot of places in the world and these are some of the roughest. The people are some of the best though.

Please elaborate on the difference. I'm considering changing the damper from factory but I'm suffering from indecision due to the wide choice available.

I'm going from stock shocks with over 95,000 kilometers on them. It's like going from driving an old tractor to driving a Cadillac. There isn't a decent paved road for more than 30 kilometers away from where I live, so they're like floating on a cloud compared to what I have been using.

I am not sure what setting you will be driving your vehicle in, but I imagine Fox shocks being impressive no matter where you live or what type of roads you are driving. [/quote]

Not today but Saturday afternoon whilst poottling down the M6 to an event Enfield way on the Sunday, massive hissing noise was suddenly experienced, quickly followed by the engine management light and a drop in power.

Limped to the next junction and discovered yet again the same problem

The pipe has worn through again on the top of the steering knuckle.

We pressed on (slowly) and get the event done, parts on order, so I can see what next weekends task will be 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Pressed back into daily service after selling my Golf R - absolutely loving it.

Was told it’s a “sick truck” by some of my year 8 students yesterday.

Discovered a McDonald’s coffee slots perfectly into the dash (but is far far harder to get back out again).

Stuck half a bale in the boot to top up the horse feeders as the fields are frozen solid.

I must admit it’s not bad, i wouldn’t have driven in otherwise too much to trash when it’s soft, i couldn’t even see tyre marks it was the frozen, didn’t even need to lock the diff to crawl up the hill either

First day of no ice around and unlikely to freeze overnight so pressure washed the underside of my 110HCPU. Plenty of salt on the roads. Got a bit carried away and blasted off some loose paint off the x-member, so added to my list of jobs is to paint it. When I bought the vehicle it had cheap dynamic side repeaters fitted (not a fan) drivers side keeps falling off as the plastic had broken, I repaired it to wedge back in the wing but now the lens on the offside has fallen off so I've ordered new non dynamic led side repeaters.
