I don't think the forum works like that, to be honest, but you could always ask Martin. Darren

There must be a way for the administrator to copy a small number of threads/pictures and host them on the site and protect them From Im sure martin will eventually see this and help if he can!

I am fitting a new chassis to my 2008 Defender.
I refitted the loom in the chassis and wired up the NSR lights with no problem. However, on the OSR there is an extra connector at the end of 2 wires, one black and one purple. They are substantial wires and could perhaps take 20 amps as suggested in the post. I spent all afternoon trying to work out where to plug in the connector without success. The connector is under the speaker as suggested so I guess I can just ignore it. It's a shame that I cannot see the original pictures to confirm we are describing the same issue. |

Hi,
Apologies, but what number is the fuse located for this? I’ve had a very quick breeze through, but am really short of time. With thanks |

Bought a charging point with a view at installing an aux socket over the weekend
I have the black and purple wires in a plug Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Before I break out the hole saw I thought I'd check the electrics, no volts across the plug, found Fuse 2 blown and replaced. But still nothing, tried with the ignition on (thought it was a permanent live) just to see if that would solve the problem. Any suggestions on what else to check? I don't seem to be getting any supply to the heated rear window either, but that's a different fuse and was intact.
