Thank you, those are the ones I'm looking at, wondering where to hardwire it (they suggest the reverse light but that would cause it to constantly disconnect when you're parking in the city, switching from reverse to first)
How fast does the image load up on your phone?

For me, I have a switched power feed to the trailer for spot lights which I can control from the dash. I have wired the switch wire and the positive wire together so as soon as I turn the switch on, the camera comes alive and creates the wifi network and then I can load the app and off I go 1999 Defender TD5 110

Finished fitting the hardtop and reverting back to her original SW form. Very glad I stuck with them original ribbed roof, looks wonderfully retro imo. JUST fits in the garage if I drive it in forwards and push on the garage door as I shut it.

Celebrated by taking her camping with some mates out in Wales, couple of pics here in the Gwynant valley. Drove there and back with zero issues.

Finally got my adventure grill and new headlight surrounds in. Let’s just say this was not a “hey just toss it in with a few bolts” type of project. Lots of trimming and careful adjustments. Hope you all like!

Swivel seals
Well it was swivel seal this weekend which quickly progressed to a new stub axel, wheel bearings and Cv and half shaft!

I don’t think I have ever managed to set out to do a single job without it morphing into many others 🙄.

Out on the weekend for the Rali Bae. Snug parking at the start of one stage resulted in this parking until the farmers gate was opened and then I could park normally.

After having had a set of Mammoth wing top plates sat around for months, finally got round to prepping them and then applying primer and Raptor. Should make them last longer and look better for longer, plus they nicely match the lower doors sill, side step and rear bumperette finish Smile At least I can rest a mug of tea on there now with no worries Thumbs Up

I've not fitted them yet but the gap bewteen the back of the bonnet and the wing tops looks a bit tight as they sit just slightly under it? Anyway tips on how to lift the back of the bonnet? I have standard hinges soon to be replaced with security ones.

Well, re the post/image above that project hasn't gone to plan Sad I just cannot get the rear of the bonnet with a sufficient gap to take the chequerplate, as it goes slighty under the back of the bonnet. I'm not even sure if changing the hinges to my new security ones will lift it enough.

Any one got any ideas?

Might have to resort to plan B and get the ones that fall short of the arial. So these might be up for sale which is a shame as it took me ages to prep and respray them, they look bang on and will last better than the powder coating!
