Cant answer your question right now, however my 400X went in several times with bonnet opening issues. 130's have feeling's as well you know

Yes, that's not normal. Try tightening it a bit.

There’s no more turns left on the black nut to tighten it. There’s around about 5mm of play to both sides?

I noticed that on mine too. Both hoops a little loose but not as much movement as yours. I decided that it’s probably designed that way, maybe to allow some ‘self alignment’. The catches were all dry so I gave them a thin smear of grease while I was there.

Just checked my '22 D90 P300. Both of mine have the same wiggle. Weird.
