taken about last year i think, Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge He started getting aggressive, started to go for me, my dad and my sister if we hugged my mum or each other. So he got a late Xmas present, in Jan this year. Very noisy dog is he not. barks at anything and goes nuts if left on his own. Poor lad though has been put on a special diet as of last year, the vet recons he has something wrong with his liver, he was put into the vets to get the stones out of his water works, cost 2k nearly! But he bums my Grub off me, even though he shouldn't have treats etc, i still give him my left overs, He might as well be dead, if he cannot have treats etc. So far he seems to like to bum my sausage sarnies off me, Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Click image to enlarge So this week we lost our Golden Retriever - she had a good innings and whilst had suffered with arthritis, etc in recent years we had managed to keep here going and she still enjoyed our walks even if they needed to be gradually shorter to keep her happy - she had an enjoyable walk last Sunday but then over the next few days went gradually down hill..... V.happy that she never suffered and led a near 15year active life |

Very sad news 90 Dreamer.
15 years is a good innings for a Retriever, but that still doesn't make the loss any easier. I hope you have some really good memories. |

She's been a brilliant family dog and my son's shadow from both being a toddler (we have some pix of them both playing in the indoor cage we used initially )
We still have the 2nd dog (rescue Saluki ?) but yes sad times but also it was nice that she was healthy basically to the end - would have hated for her to suffer Thanks for the thoughts |

So sorry for your loss Dreamer. It's one of life's worst feelings but remembering all the good times you shared just about makes it bearable.
RIP WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |
