One cold January morning, was having a coffee and preparing to go to work when I heard this crying almost screaming sound of a dog outside. At first I did not bother much, but as the crying continued I had to investigate. Went out, was drizzling, but could not see anything, but could still hear the crying. Walked to where the crying was coming from, and in the bushes, I found a little skinny, soaking wet, trembling grey poodle. As I picked him up, I could literally feel every bone in his body. He had all sorts of vegetation stuck to his coat. So a warm shower and some food later he was feeling better, and had already made friends with my other poodle. Forgot about work. Unfortunately that time my wife was 8 months pregnant, and since we did not know anything about this new dog, we decided that it would be better to stay at my inlaws.
Fast forward 13 years, and here he is. His coat is now a bit of a faded grey, but hey, so is mine Whistle but he is as cute as ever. Wish I kept him since my other poodle has passed away and has left a big empty space in our hearts.

Nice pic that. Had a cracking Lakeland terrier a few years back, lost her 8 years ago now. Full of character. Would have another tomorrow!

Nearly 4 years with us, and his he still doesn't look like a bearded colie, more of a mop if anything. Got a couple of nick names for him now, 80s fringe and Little Nose ( little nose been the favourite) All you see is a small nose peering out from under the fringe. He has taught him self to beg for bits of grub, Goes nuts if i have a sausage or bacon sarnie, He also now buts me, or put the paws on me, to go for a walk, even shouts at me too. Goes nuts if i say you 1st, when we come back, i always used to say See Ya, and he will run and shout like hell.
