I use the AR13U type and have had no issues with them (yet), they're much better than the standard blades. I do make sure however that the pivot and spring in the arm is free and lubricated - I've met many vehicles over the years where the pivot has become so stiff that there's next to no spring towards the screen.

Just checked my emails and the AR13U are the one I got a few years ago. Will check the spring and pivot > 110 XS Double Cab

On the subject of weak washers, first thing to check is the non return valves in the washer pipes, they usually reside by the heater box in the wing where it meets the bulkhead. Follow the pipes as hey leave the pumps and eventually you'll come across the point where the pipe looks like it's been cut and joined. These valves can clog up and significantly reduce flow. The rear washer on my 110 is perfectly fine for what it's required to do, adequate flow and if correctly aimed gets to where it needs to. For the fronts I added a second 'standard' nozzle into the blanked off holes in the bulkhead, again the standard pump provides more than adequate flow to give 4 strong steams of fluid into the far corners of the screen. I think the total cost for 2 new nozzles, pipe and T piece connector was about £14! I elected to fit two new ones because as predicted the old one cracked when I tried to remove it. I have replaced with Bosch Twin 340U. Looks stock, inexpensive, works well.

The first set of Aeros I had lasted and performed really well, the other sets since seemed to have a reduced lifespan. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I use these:
http://www.secondlifecarparts.com/lr079891...9-rui.html For this price I keep them in stock en replace them as soon as I think they get a bit worn. I hate to use expensive wipers when the windscreen is full of mud and sand, with these I don't bother.
