Damn fine looking TD5, cocker
Depending on how many miles and its past life it may also be worth getting something like a EDT Automotive Deep Clean (that was just the brand that was on offer at my local garage). Did my old 110 TD5 when it went in for MOT at Strathearn Engineering and it did make a noticeable difference! Got a bit closer to getting the front end the way I want it. Fitted the Zunsport grilles.
Next on the list is a new bumper with DRLs. Click image to enlarge |

Installed the Wright off road acoustic matt today, total pain to fit but it’s definitely made a big difference. Put a good layer of dynamat underneath as well.
Now all of the noise comes from the second row and doors ! Next job 🙄 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/ |

Started rustproofing my truck
Jet washed under neath around 3 weeks ago and its been in garage drying. Sanded down with wire brush Used Aquasteel first let this dry and set Then applied Lanoguard to box sections using a 360 wand and spray. Painted calipers while all apart. Certainly looks better than it did. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Attended a rally at 3 Sisters race circuit, it was very wet and very muddy. A few cars got stuck on the grass at the circuit.
Tried Rain-X for the first time.. Pretty good results. Made the drive home a lot easier given the amount of rain we had. Ticked over to 235000 miles! 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
