It feels strange just based on it being so different to what you are used to, I found the same when I fitted mine a few years ago. I still have mine fitted, but to be honest I’m not sure I’m convinced by it

A lot of people say the same thing when first fitted, just because it's so different from before. Give it a few days. Darren

I have one, TBH I didn't actually notice any difference. It came with my kit from LOF and I didn't realise I had been driving around without one before.

My left knee is F****d, without the LOF spring the Fender would be a problem for me… Ride like you stole it!!

I hated the feel of ours at first but within a few days it either a) freed up a bit or b) I got used to it. Overall it was much lighter than the standard spring and despite being a right bar-steward to fit I have no regrets.
I had to raise the pedal height to get the clutch bite point right (due to a new master cylinder fitted at the same time, not the spring) and it felt like the spring had to overcome some initial inertia at the top of the stroke but now it's as smooth as silk. I have a Power Slave from L.O.F. to go in at some point, I have high hopes of that. M |

There is another option. Replace the original spring and fit either the LOF master or slave cylinder. The pedal will still be lighter, much lighter, but more familiar in feel.

Just keep driving you’ll get used to it quickly. It is definitely very different that OEM. I have also
 installed their slave and it is uber smooth and buttery soft.

l've had the assist spring fitted for years, l am used to it but because of the way that it works, it's harder to bring the clutch up smoothly in first gear or low range.

I've had a Land Rover spring on my clutch pedal for years to good effect. I also have a lof spring in the box from my last clutch change. Would I notice the difference if I swapped the LR spring for the lof version ?
