Is there a 60 amp fuse under the drivers seat for the fan? Could that be the problem?

Link 5 60 amps in the under seat fuse box is the supply to starter relay and ignition switch

Ah, well that works then as the car drives and starts fine, so its not that. Thanks that saved me the faff of taking the seat out to have a look (i have fancy seats Very Happy )

OK still no blower fan!

Is there a way of putting power to the fan via the connections in the engine bay to see if it will spin up?

Hi Dunk,

I wanted to do the same thing a few years ago so I bought a Sealey PP1 Auto Probe. It’s ideal for powering up 12v components.

at the plug purple and green wire needs to have 12 volts + to battery - with the ign switched to pos ii

Green and slate gray wire and green and yellow are switched to ground i.e. battery - this cared out with heater speed control

a Digital Multimeter so you can read dc voltage and Continuity and Resistance and Test wiring good tool
