You could do a lot worse than standard Land Rover ones. Britpart substitutes are rubbish in my experience. If you want softer suspension though, you'll also need to look at springs as the standard on a 130 will be heavy duty. Darren

I'm running standard springs (with rear helpers) and shocks on mine. Does the trick.

As others have said, standard Land Rover ones work well.
If you find the ride too harsh and you don't carry heavy loads you could remove the inner helper springs. My 130 is a station wagon and I have kept the helper springs and don't find the ride harsh. |
