Shock absorbers
Hello friends
When I assembled my Defender 130 I put some britpar shock absorbers I think they were the most economical, I don't know if they will be good or bad, but when I drive I feel as if they will blow, the thing is that I want to replace them with softer and better quality ones, my Driving is 80 on the road and 20 on the ground, which you recommend, I forgot to tell you that I suffer from the spine.

You could do a lot worse than standard Land Rover ones. Britpart substitutes are rubbish in my experience. If you want softer suspension though, you'll also need to look at springs as the standard on a 130 will be heavy duty. Darren

I'm running standard springs (with rear helpers) and shocks on mine. Does the trick.

As others have said, standard Land Rover ones work well.
If you find the ride too harsh and you don't carry heavy loads you could remove the inner helper springs.
My 130 is a station wagon and I have kept the helper springs and don't find the ride harsh.
