I brush painted the back bed of by HT with raptor. Just mix smaller quantities as it does go off. I painted my sankey bed as well, brush painted into the corners and then roller the large flat bits. easy job.

Best prep is to scotchbrite, clean, etch prime then 2 coats of raptor at least 1 hour apart. If you’re painting at this time of year with no heat source, I’d leave about 90 minutes between each coat.
If you can spray, then a 2.0 primer spray is a good finish for cages, snorkels bumpers etc. |

They normally supply the tint in a separate tin and you mix when required. So you can have any colour you want on top of RAL colours obviously. I ordered from buzzweld as they could also supply LR colours for tint.
You can also order pre mixed a number of upol colours, but the range is quite limited. |

I saw this stuff at Peterborough last September
https://www.speedtexeuro.com Similar in looks to Raptor but a different substance. It did look good and resilient. Having already tried Raptor I'm thinking I'll give this a go next time. |

That’s the same as the company that I mentioned. Great chaps. Father and son business and they are real car enthusiasts

Well onto a new supplier. Buzzweld is fairly close to me so thought they would be ideal to deal with. Apparently not.
Due to reasons I need to read information and process it slowly. I can have a phonecall with a lot of tech detail and it'll be forgotten within the hour. So used the Buzzweld contact me feature on their website. Explained exactly what I wanted to do and asked what prep, materials I'd need. Herad nothing Waited a few more days and resent my enquiry. And still nothing. It asked for a number that they could call me on but no call either. Can't believe that a company with the reputation of them don't return emails via a link from their own website. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

I've had exactly the same experience with them myself earlier this year. Absolutely no replies via their web site nor direct email trying to sort out a problem. And not just 3 or 4 emails but many more. I eventually started asking why were they ignoring me. To this day I have heard nothing from them. Covid was not a reason as by this time we were well in to the summer. I refuse to make phone calls as there is no record of the communication. I'd rather eat Jimmy Saville's fossilised sh*t than buy anything off them now.

Same exp for me with Buzzweld, you have to phone them sadly. We had to check the PPE requirement for some of the stuff as my chum was doing it in his unit, no emails answered and they did send a FB message back but a week later. I found out faster by emailing U-Pol.

Seems like a reoccuring theme now.
I emailed the company in the link someone provided and waiting for a response from them. Lets hope they come up with answers to my questions. That’s no good, I personally had no problems when I ordered, as paint arrived promptly, but that was about 15 months ago for my last order. Looks like I’ll need to find another source if I want the tint version again.
You can get upol raptor lots of places online, and most paint places will supply a tint with an LR colour code or RAL etc. I hope this helps |
