MOT Failure
I've just had the dreaded MOT failure phone call.

It's failed on "Oil leaking excessively from transmission Nearside Front (HUB SEAL) [8.4.1(a)(i)]"

Does this sound like a swivel replacement is needed, or just the hub oil seal?

The swivel was done less than 4k miles ago, so hoping it's not gone again already.....

Probably just the seal if the swivel isn’t pitted badly. 1951 80" S1 2.0

(number 2) if this failed you see it Oil leaking or grease running down at the back brake disk

as a side note check your axle breather pipe are not blocked

(transmission) Nearside Front (HUB SEAL) [8.4.1(a)(i)] Mot computer program list that they have to used just as ( brake pipe corroded covered in grease or other material )

Phone mot inspector and check

Thanks, I'm hoping it's that seal - got a couple in the garage.
I'll give them a call to check
