Crank position sensor
Last thing I need to get is a spare crank position sensor ( as it’s one thing that will stop the truck in its tracks) Never had much to do with these, question is genuine or aftermarket?
As said it’s a spare & hopefully never needed, if aftermarket does anyone know what make? Thanks in advance gents.

Also consider looking at Genuine Ford ones, they’ll be the same as LR probably quite a bit less £££. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Genuine if possible, OEM if not and pattern if desperate...

Think I need a t-shirt with that on Rolling Eyes

I'd go genuine or OM if you could, although there isn't anything to go wrong with them if I'm honest.

Remember to swap them out you'll need to remove the heatsheild ( not the main turbo one, but a smaller one ) which takes an 8mm socket and is a wee pita to remove...it takes you looking out of the bonnet whilst your hands feel for the bolt Laughing

I'm rebuilding my engine at the moment so I'll take a pic for you so you've got a visual of how it sits

I've just rebuilt my engine, (see my full build on my You Tube channel), and my heatshield was just "clipped" on and I cannot for the life of me get it to sit back on without flopping about. Nige
