Sorry for being pedantic, but it’s the fobs that need programming not the keys. If yours is a 2.2 2013 defender it will likely have the old fobs, not the newer ones with the chrome strip on the side, unless at some point the ALM module was replaced in which case you will have the latter fobs.

If anyone on here has a nanocom for a 2.4 / 2.2 Puma and they are near by they can do it quickly for you. If they have the latest download from nanocom then this should not be an issue even if you have an ALM not 10AS alarm ECU.

A local indi will also likely be able to do it at a reasonable price.

Ps are you sure they need reprogramming, not a re sync, as a re sync you can do yourself. I.e outside of your vehicle with doors closed , leave a window open, press lock button 4 to 5 times in succession, then press the unlock button.

These guys are usually helpful, based in Oswestry, and may be able to point you in the right direction - https://www.mcdonald4x4.co.uk/

Good luck Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Apology accepted Very Happy

She’s sat for nearly 2 years with flat battery and flat fobs, I can’t get it to re-sync whatever I do. Thanks for the info on the Nanocom Thumbs Up My Disco 'best bits'
