Worth considering lights on your walls at arm/ head level. You will notice quickly, how much light goes once the car is in!m

As I'm also a 101 owner garage headroom is in short supply so I'm considering swapping out the current LED tube fittings for some daylight 1200x300 LED panels. More lumens and only 8mm projection from the ceiling.

OK getting to the point I may need lights soon.

I'm going to go with twin batten type and LED

I hear on here that Daylight light best? the company that sell the lights have these as an option to add to the light fittings (I'm going for doubles in each light) so 6 or 8 double lights..

Which of these bulbs is best for a garage ? or other recommendations for 5ft LED bulbs.

Thanks

I'd go for 6500K to get the most daylight-like colour rendering. Data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature

Temperature K | Source
1700 K Match flame, low pressure sodium lamps (LPS/SOX)
1850 K Candle flame, sunset/sunrise
2400 K Standard incandescent lamps
2550 K Soft white incandescent lamps
2700 K "Soft white" compact fluorescent and LED lamps
3000 K Warm white compact fluorescent and LED lamps
3200 K Studio lamps, photofloods, etc.
3350 K Studio "CP" light
5000 K Horizon daylight
5000 K Tubular fluorescent lamps or cool white / daylight
compact fluorescent lamps (CFL)
5500 – 6000 K Vertical daylight, electronic flash
6200 K Xenon short-arc lamp [2]
6500 K Daylight, overcast
6500 – 9500 K LCD or CRT screen
15,000 – 27,000 K Clear blue poleward sky
