YRM do one piece sills, really easy to fit. You could have them painted then fit afterwards. You'd probably get some money back by selling yours with the chequer plate

yeah i am toying with that idea too, on replacing these sills, but i have checker plating on the rear corners too, that has to come off and get sorted. I will be left with holes off the rivets

This week i have been semi mothballed, so while my dad was out of my hair, and at work i cracked on with a couple of jobs,
I managed to bag a proper genuine spotlamp kit, but i have some trouble, with dash wiring. I will post that in the relevant section on here. ![]() Also another security modification too, Which i had in storage for well over a year! Gore hinges ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Took longer to pop the bonnet than to fit. my dad clocked them straight away and liked them. ![]() The spot lamp loom, Sort of work in progress at this moment but its in ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge waiting on a few bits and pieces for me to sort out, and a couple of possible changes and replacement parts, My dash binnacle decided to crumble at the corners and my centre console is practically on the verge of dropping to pieces ![]() So i will be taking photos of inside there for you lads, ![]() Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

When you say your dash binnacle has crumbled, do you mean the front part where the gauges are mounted or the rear part that the front fixes to? If the latter then Raptor Engineering make a metal replacement that's better than the original in every way. If it's the front part then Raptor also make a replacement for that does look slightly different so it's more of a personal choice.

Its the front part, I have managed to buy a replacement unit for it, as its just a straight swop. My dad has the raptor setup, I one the front part in an auction, but my my dad bummed that off me a couple of years ago. I do like the two areas that light up on the TD5 so i just stuck with the standard replacement, the back piece i would look at replacing with the raptor unit though.
