 I’ve only done it recently so it’s on page 64, I took a black switch cover from my defender drilled a little hole for the light then put it on the discovery switch then pics of how I got the motorway decal on are on page 64  Ray

I think it’s post 2001 when they changed the ECU.
But not 100% sure. I fitted the Nakatanenga kit to my 2005 TD5 Defender and it works fine. The kit costs just over £100 But for some reason it’s not listed on the UK site, only the German one. The instructions are in German but they sent me English ones on a PDF file. |

It should be an NNN ecu and not an MSB ecu. The defender has migrated, leaving the owner behind.

The cruise control has transformed long journeys in my 110. We recently drove to Scotland (a round trip of 860 miles) and it was great to set the speed at 65mph and then just steer. After slowing down you can just press the resume button.
I would say it’s the best accessory l have fitted. |

FWIW... I have an 2000 MY and would love cruise as well but alas.... Its not cruise but this little mod made long distance driving a tad more comfortable by undoing one of the throttle springs. Its easier on the right leg. I have modified mine as well, by drilling a new hole for the spring a bit further round, so reducing the tension.

Would like to do the cc mod but will it work with Roamer overdrive also if using a speed healer is this switched on and off with the cruise control

It should work with the overdrive with the speed healer fitted, overdrive only normally affects CC in 5th gear, but the speed healer will allow full use of CC.
The CC should not interfere with the workings of the speed healer. Mike |
